With precise framing and a vividly expressive graphical composition, Tum-Wuthipol Ujathammarat has presented his series of abstract photographs from his impromptu wanderings in various areas of Bangkok in ‘Urban Mess’, with the mix, mess, and mismatch of colors between different elements that are placed together in the metropolitan landscape, where the garishness of each object interacts dynamically. Moreover, the construction of the image also emphasizes the movement of people without people, especially the negotiation of urban life with the chaotic colors on the surface of things that time has eaten away.

ด้วยการจัดวางกรอบเฟรมภาพอย่างแม่นยำร่วมกับองค์ประกอบกราฟิกที่มีชีวิตชีวา ตั้ม–วุฒิพล อุจฉธรรมรัตน์ ได้นำเสนอชุดภาพถ่ายนามธรรมจากการตระเวนพื้นที่ต่าง ๆ ในกรุงเทพมหานคร ใน Urban Mess เล่มนี้ โดยผสมผสาน ความยุ่งเหยิง และการไม่เข้ากันของสีสันระหว่างองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ที่ถูกจัดวางรวมเข้าอยู่ด้วยกันในภูมิทัศน์ของกรุงเทพมหานคร ซึ่งความฉูดฉาดของแต่ละวัตถุได้โต้ตอบกันอย่างมีพลวัต นอกจากนั้นแล้วการประกอบสร้างภายในภาพก็ยังขับเน้นให้เห็นถึงการเคลื่อนไหวที่ขวักไขว่ แม้ปราศจากตัวผู้คน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการต่อรองเพื่อชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของคนเมืองด้วยเฉดสีสันที่ยุ่งเหยิงบนเปลือกพื้นผิวของสิ่งต่าง ๆ ซึ่งถูกกลืนกินหายไปโดยกาลเวล
