On the morning of Saturday, June 17, 1995, Bangkok had the opportunity to welcome two world-renowned architects and an architectural theorist – Peter Eisenman, Arata Isozaki, and Jeffrey Kipnis – at a special lecture entitled Bangkok International Architecture Symposium (BIAS1995), as an early launch event of Architects’ 39.

That was the origin of a particular roundtable discussion that same afternoon, which is the origin of the title of this special book published by art4d. Eisenman, Isozaki, and Kipnis sat in a chat with the editorial team of art4d, with a few special guests of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage, including Dr. Sumet Jumsai. art4d recorded the conversation that afternoon and compiled some of the critical points in this book.
